DutyNest is a personal rota tool
DutyNest helps you record and plan shifts, patterns, overtime, leave, TOIL and related notes. It is not an employer system, official roster, payroll service, timekeeping authority, medical service or legal-compliance tool.
You remain responsible for checking your official rota, attendance, rest arrangements, pay, leave and employment requirements with the appropriate employer or authority. Rest-gap and long-shift messages are general information only.
Licence and acceptable use
KSJ Growth gives you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use DutyNest in accordance with these terms and the applicable app-store rules.
- Do not misuse the app, attempt to interfere with its operation or use it unlawfully.
- Only record colleague or third-party information when you have a lawful and appropriate reason to keep it.
- Do not rely on DutyNest as the only copy of important work records; create backups appropriate to your needs.
Free and Premium
The Free plan has no fixed time limit and retains useful rota functionality. Premium may add higher creation limits, advanced reports and export features. The exact features available are shown in the app before purchase.
Premium subscriptions are purchased and billed by Apple or Google. Prices, taxes, billing periods, eligibility and any trial or introductory offer are supplied by the store and may vary by country or account. DutyNest only displays an offer when the store confirms it for that customer.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the relevant store before renewal. Cancelling normally leaves Premium available until the end of the paid period. Deleting DutyNest data or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Use Restore purchases when appropriate.
Your data and backups
Rota data is stored locally. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for protecting any backup or export you create. Restoring a backup replaces current local data only after validation and confirmation.
DutyNest may change its data format as the app develops. A current release is intended to restore backups created by the same supported database version; compatibility with every future or older version is not promised.
Availability and changes
KSJ Growth aims to keep DutyNest reliable but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Device failures, operating-system changes, app-store services and third-party subscription services can affect operation.
Features may be improved, replaced or withdrawn. Existing local records will not be deliberately removed because a Premium subscription ends. Updates may be required for security, compatibility or store compliance.
Responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by applicable law, DutyNest is provided for personal planning and KSJ Growth is not responsible for employment, payroll, scheduling or other decisions made from inaccurate, incomplete or outdated entries.
You should stop using the app and contact support if you believe it is producing incorrect information that could affect an important decision.
App-store terms and termination
Apple or Google may apply additional terms to downloading, billing, refunds and subscriptions. If these DutyNest terms conflict with mandatory store terms, the mandatory store terms apply to that issue.
You may stop using DutyNest at any time. KSJ Growth may restrict use where reasonably necessary to protect the app, users, legal rights or store compliance. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Contact and changes to these terms
KSJ Growth may update these terms as DutyNest changes. The updated date will be shown at the top. Use the Support screen or the published support link on the store listing with questions.
